Teenager Lilly sails to title of North West champion

A talented teenager from Bromley Cross has sailed her way to a prestigious North West title.

On route to victory Lilly won an impressive 4 of the 10 events and was on the podium 6 times in total. ![]()

This season Lilly raced in a ILCA 6 that was on loan from her home club. The boat was originally donated by the John Merricks Sailing Trust in 2023 to another youth sailor before falling under club ownership, by loaning the boat to Lilly the club have continued to support the sailing pathway at Delph and are ensuring the scheme leaves a lasting legacy for the club and its members.![]()
