Congratulations to Delph Cadet Billy Morris who is the first of our pathway sailors to become a member of the British Sailing Team.
Not bad for someone who only learned to sail 5 years ago in 2021.
Like many of our promising stars, Billy started racing in a club loan boat before progressing through to the ILCA fleet where he has worked tirelessly to achieve his dreams.
He will also be representing the club at this year’s world championships in Aarhus, Denmark alongside another Delph Member Ava Harris Scott who will be competing in the ILCA4 class.
Only a handful of British sailors have been selected to represent their country and everyone here is very proud of them both.
