Notice of Race and Events for the 2023 season at Delph SC

Wednesday Evenings.
- WEH”A” and WEH”C” are handicap racing – trophies will be awarded on corrected times based on the published RYA PY handicaps for 2023.
Gold and Silver Fleet awards will be given
- WEH”B” is pursuit racing. Pursuit racing dinghy start times will be based on the published RYA 2023 PY numbers.
- All the Wednesday Series (A, B and C) will be 12 races with 6 to count.
- There will be one special Sprint Pursuit event on 19th June. The exact format will be weather dependent. For details please consult Club Notice Board or website.
Sunday Events
- Early Points Series 15 races with 8 to count.
- Summer Points Series 15 races with 8 to count.
- Autumn Points Series 15 races with 8 to count.
- Frostbite Handicap Series. 16 races with 9 to count.
3 Sprint Sundays starting 16th May. The exact format will be
weather dependent. For details please consult the Club Notice Board or website.
- Monthly Handicap and Pursuit days. Various one day events throughout the season. Each has 3 races with 2 to count.

Novice Sailors and Cadets Racing
Commence Sunday 18th April for all season’s fleet racing. Will utilise the 5th fleet start. Racing specifics to be briefed on the day by OOD depending on circumstances.

- Cadets in Charge – racing to be set, run and managed by Cadets
