Our Powerboat instructor team are going to offer two courses in Nov/Dec 2025 for Delph Members.

If you would like to book a place on either course let me know. There are limited places but once the course is full I will make a list for the next course we run.
More details will be sent out to those booked onto the courses by the powerboat instructors prior to the course.
Course 1
Powerboat level 2
Saturday 15th and 22nd of November 2025
9am till 5pm both days
Cost £45 including Logbook and license
Focus of the course is to learn the basics of powerboat driving and safe handling of a range of small powerboats.
Age 12+
Course 2
Safety boat
Saturday 6th and 13th of Dec 2025
9am till 5pm both days
Cost £45
Aimed at those who have PB2 or known to the club to be an experienced powerboat driver.
This course develops the skills needed when acting as a safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers and canoes or for race training. It will include rescue techniques for a range of situations.
Age 16+
We are keeping the courses at a low cost, as we wish as many club members as possible to gain these qualifications. It helps to strengthen race duty teams and to provide members with confidence in using the powerboats within duties. There is also a benefit for members who wish to develop their qualifications/hire boats elsewhere in the future.
Similar courses at a commercial centre cost £220 + but because our instructors volunteer their time we can run courses to cover running costs (thanks team!)
